Ordered a deluxe facial. Each treatment claims to include a foot massage - I had a hot towel put on my feet - that’s all. The disappointing part is I specifically booked an add on for $35 Gua Sha and when I spoke to the therapist before my facial started I asked her specifically to use the gua sha. We drove half an hour to Belligen for this facial - for Gua Sha. After what seemed 10 minutes of painfully gentle jade rolling on my face I asked - at what point are you introducing the Gua Sha. The therapist said this is it. I said no, that’s a jade roller. And she said we don’t have a Gua Sha. We just use this. I have both instruments at home - and they are two different facial tools and to add the jade roller wasn’t used correctly. All in all $160 for a facial which felt like a rip off. The therapist was lovely and she was quiet and gentle but I honestly felt like that was not a professional massage and I didn’t get what I asked for. If you don’t offer a Gua Sha service - don’t advertise it. Very misleading. Left the facial not at all happy. I told the therapist when paying I was disappointed in no Gua Sha. She wasn’t phased.
