This is the worst massage I have ever had. Beginning with ambiance, or lack there of. There was no calming music to dull out the ticking clocks and pop music from the shop next door. The room was cold and the "massage therapist" made no effort to warm her hands or the oil which dribbled over my back. These points could be ignored was it not for the actual massage itself. For my back, neck and shoulder massage the lady exclusively used her elbows, digging them into various points around my back. She did use her thumbs for my neck where she dug them in and applied pressure. There were absolutely ZERO massage strokes to warm up my back, not even the basics, and no attention given to the sore points I told her about prior.
Once she was done elbowing me, she said "ok, thanks" and abruptly walked out. As I approached the desk, she only looked at me to point at the eftpos machine and then went back to scrolling on 'catch of the day.' It was clear she did not want to be there which was also felt during the 'treatment.'
I received a Cert IV in Massage Therapy years ago but do not practice but from my personal experience and what I know of holistic care is that she is either not professionally qualified and/or unfit to practice in an area that requires personalised care, empathy and to genuinely want to improve someone's health.
Regretful to say, it was honestly the first massage in my life that I wanted to end.
Worst massage ever if it can even be called that. Better to throw your money away and not waste it here, at least you won't waste your time and come out annoyed by the experience. An ant could give a better massage compared to this gentle and ever so soft touching which becomes simply agrovating when you realise that you won't be getting a massage...and of course you pay up front.
Avoid, avoid, avoid! Zero stars!!!
