I was referred to OC mechanical from a local friend of mine to do some work on my Ford, I was told I was unable to see a service for 3 weeks , I was hesitant , but I figured I was told they were great and had good reviews.
From walking in the office door their were problems , Apparently 9:30 am is too late to drop a car off for a simple service, I had a small issue with the bonnet lever which had been damaged , and the mechanics told me I had to wait a whole 3 more weeks for them to open it to be serviced , the mechanic had broke the cable whilst trying too open and had no apology for damaging the car, no empathy for myself waiting three weeks for nothing and figured booking me in another 3 weeks was good customer service and consideration for my time , haha honestly I rang another mechanic before I picked it up and they opened the bonnet within minutes and had the car ready within a few hours the SAME DAY , so basically I would have to unfortunately write a very terrible review for a bunch of unprofessional mechanics and non empathetic staff ...
There are many good mechanics out in cairns and this is definitely not the one.
