Gave Rays a go before Christmas as my usual mechanic was booked out and I needed the car ready for a trip away.
I needed my rocker cover gaskets replaced due to an oil leak and since I had recently purchased the car I also asked them to do a regular service.
When the car was returned to me it was no longer registering coolant temperature, I had to return the next day for them to rewire it - the wiring they did for this wasn't of the best quality and with enough vibration the sensor just pops right off and stops registering again.
A week later I was away on my trip and the alternator blew - had to take it to the only mechanic I could find out rural and they informed me more wiring had been done badly - the main wire for my alternator was not secured properly after the rocker cover replacement and was hanging down and sitting on my exhaust, which melted the wire and caused a short circuit and blew my alternator.
And final cherry on top is that the rocker covers are now leaking once again a month later.
As far as I am concerned, taking my car here did more damage than it did good and I am back to square one but down many $$$.
