Our GPs offer a range of healthcare services including skin cancer checks and treatments for Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) conditions. We also have a treatment room for minor procedures, wound management and immunisations.

Been attending this surgery for 5/6 years and never missed an appt.
Tried to book an appt today but was declined. Week ago I made an appt but never received my telehealth call. I made another for next day. Week later I can't have an appt unless I pay $38 for non attendance of phone call.
I had major surgery 2 weeks ago and the "missed appt" was 1 week after my surgery and didn't have to energy to complain after not receiving. I have chronic medical issues and now have to go without my medications until I find another Dr to see. I'm on a pension and can't afford $38 especially for something I wasn't to blame for.
Was bad enough that I had to have consult with Dr S. I needed my usual medication that needs authority and he sent my script to the chemist. I am on safety net card so my scripts are free. My husband went and picked it up and had to pay full price because Dr s marked it as non pbs. So had to pay for it and instead of usual month supply I got 1 week supply.
The receptionist I spoke to couldn't care less. Apparently all they care about here is numbers and money.
Have made a stressful time even harder.
Truth be told they did me a favour even though I will have to go without my medication until I find a new Dr.
No empathy or understanding at all.
