To start with, the reception staff and the MRI staff were great. The two stars go to the reporting doctor. I went in for an MRI of breast implants since I have been having trouble with my left one for years and not an inkling of discomfort in the right. This doctor reported, in the clinical finding, that there was a contracture and rupture in my right implant and that the left was fine. In the next paragraph this doctor then wrote that the right was intact and had minor issues.
I called dr. Jones and pointed out the discrepancy and another report was generated with the conclusion at the top stating that it WAS my LEFT implant that was ruptured and had the contracture but the rest of the report wasn't changed. The clinical findings still stated that it was the right. How unprofessional can this doctor be? This is a permanent medical record. I paid $380 for this scan and report and it can't be reported correctly??? I have zero confidence in the reporting doctor.
6/9/22 I got a call today and a nice doctor explained to me that they are only allowed to attach an amendment to an original report but not change the original body of the report because it can be used as evidence if there were any legal procedings. I was also informed that a different doctor, rather than the original reporting doctor, reviewed my MRI and added the correct findings in the amendment. Thank you for the apologies and the correct amendment.
Ive been unlucky enough to have had quite a few scans , cts etc. About 6 between here and the old wakefield site
I would estimate half the visits have been ok and the other half the staff (mainly reception) havent been very customer focused. They have been either abrupt/rude, unfocussed or on two occasions blatantly rude. Not the easiest job for the staff, but in comparison to the other imaging places its my opinion and experience they could do a much better job.
