About Logan City Historical Museum

We are the Logan City Historical Museum, located at 270 Jacarandah Avenue Kingston in the grounds of the Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct.

The Museum is currently 'Temporarily Closed' whilst we make the move from our current temporary premises to our permanent home.

Our collection is substantial including a variety of butter making machinery and complete cream records dating from the Kingston Butter Factory’s beginnings in 1907.

As well, there are artifacts and photographs of the Kingston Gold Mine and the little known WWII airfields established around the Logan area.

We are proud to have in our collection a wealth of historical and personal memorabilia illuminating the lives of Logan’s inhabitants dating back over 150 years.
