About Prince Henry Hospital Nursing and Medical Museum
Prince Henry Hospital was established in 1881 at Little Bay in Sydney as an infectious diseases hospital. The last ward closed in 2003.
Prince Henry Hospital Nursing and Medical Museum maintains an extensive collection of documents, artefacts and memorabilia related to Prince Henry Hospital, the hundreds of doctors, nurses, patients and support staff who worked and stayed there and the general history of medicine in NSW. Guided tours are available.
Prince Henry Museum is managed by Prince Henry Hospital Trained Nurses Association, a not for profit association.
