About Ballina District Museum
The Ballina & District Historical Society Inc. was established in May 2019 by a group of enthusiastic locals whose aim is to preserve and document the social and cultural history of Ballina and it's surrounding districts including Pimlico, Wardell, Meerschaum Vale, Empire Vale, Teven, Lennox Head and Tintenbar. Our objective is to identify, collect, index and preserve local historical material such as documents, photographs, maps and artefacts. These are now showcased in the Ballina District Museum at 580 Pimlico Rd, Pimlico 2478.
