About SharDave Music
SharDave is a musical duo and musical production team. The music that SharDave produces is highly original, poly-harmonic, organic, raw, unpretentious, and sometimes haunting. The songs range across genre, and include the African and Latino influenced rhythms and instruments, including djembe and dun-dun drums (from West Africa) and congas (which have their origins in Afro Cuban musical styles). It’s a fusion of so many styles that it has almost become a self-styled genre we call “Shar”! It’s kind of folk, funk, elements of world music, perhaps a bit of rock thrown in for good measure.
