About Flinders Chase National Park

Flinders Chase National Park is a must for any Kangaroo Island parks adventure. This vast area of wilderness features the iconic Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch and a long-nosed fur seal colony.

The park is recovering naturally following the summer bushfires. The park's coastal heath, woodlands and forests are re-growing and koalas, eagles, kangaroos, echidnas and goannas are regularly spotted in the park.

A selection of campsites and walking trails have reopened.

Entry and camping fees apply, pay online before you go.

There is a wifi payment hotspot at Rocky River but given the remote location the connection can be slow. NPWS staff are in the park daily from 9am to 5pm.

Park facilities are limited and include portable toilets..

Protected area housing a visitor centre & geological formations, plus camping/picnic sites & trails.
