Worth the small drive off the road, consider spending the night well worth it.

What a great find this was. A stunningly beautiful place with an easy walk up the track to the top of crater. You can do a rim walk aroubd as well or a hike to the bottom. There is a great campground within walking distance for quite a few campervans and trailers. There are signs saying "No fires" as it is a National Park but most people ignorantly ignored the signs. I was awoken just after midnight by the stench of green wood burning next to our site...they didn't care!!!! Just hope the surrounding bush doesn't catch alight as is so dry there. WA parks need to patrol more often.
