About Port Stephens Kangaroo Encounters
CURRENTLY CLOSED SEPTEMBER 2021. Enjoy the beauty of our golf course. Take great wildlife photos and learn about our wild eastern grey kangaroos and other unique Australian animals while riding in a 7-passenger-seated golf cart. Your small group is led by a guide. You'll see kangaroos within a couple of metres, yet in a guided, safe and friendly environment. We do not feed or touch the kangaroos as they are wild. Tours on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday in the late afternoon (3:30pm-4:30pm Fri,Sun,Mon. 4pm-4:30pm Sat) and last about 30 minutes. Check availability, book and pay online at Nelson Bay Golf Club website. To avoid disappointment, bookings are essential as tours are extremely popular. Prices: $20 per adult, kids under 12 free
