About Koala Trail

Start your experience on the ferry and leave your car parked in Paynesville. The ferry to Raymond Island is free for pedestrians. Koalas, kangaroos, echidnas and bird life abound. The Koala Trail is well marked and is 2 km. You can walk it or hire a 2 or 4 person bike from Ride the Koalas at the beginning of the trail.

The Koala Trail is through public lands so is always open but the best time to see koalas is during daylight hours.
