Out of all the clubs on Hindley Street in Adelaide, Jive is my favourite. A little bit smaller (and less crowded than most), entry is always $5 and the music is pumping --usually dance-worthy throwbacks to the 70s, 80s and 90s.
Naturally there are normal club issues --sticky floors and a wait for the bathroom, but none of it seems to matter when you're having a good time. I really recommend Jive, especially for its themed dance nights (usually on Saturdays).
Saw Keiino live here in Oct 2019. The band was amazing, the venue was great. They have good drink specials and overall, it's a great venue. I have taken a star off for the quality of the mens bathroom. Needs some repair work in there quick smart.. Other than that, really enjoyed my time here.
