About Menarock Life Essendon
It is with heartfelt compassion to all our residents, families, staff, friends and the community that we advise of the decision to permanently close Menarock LIFE Essendon with effect from 26 March 2021.
Various meetings are taking place with both residents and their families and with the staff, many of whom have worked at Essendon Aged Care for many years. It is management’s clear desire to seek to accommodate all of our residents at any of our other 12 homes in the Menarock LIFE Group, but we appreciate many may prefer to remain in the local community. Furthermore, we are actively seeking to redeploy staff where they can be accommodated within the Menarock LIFE Group.
