About Waterwheel Persimmon Orchard
Waterwheel Orchard is open annually during the persimmon harvest season, to sell sweet crunchy Fuyu persimmons to the public. We open 7 days a week from 10 am to 4.30 pm while the persimmons are available, and are then closed for the rest of the year. We invite people to pick their own fruit while the persimmons are plentiful and can be reached easily from ground level. The higher fruit is harvested with cherry-pickers and sold from the packing shed.

Good value and great fun. Picking your own persimmons is cheap and enjoyable. The trees themselves look wonderful in their brilliant autumn colours. I spent a lot of time taking photos but all the family loved picking.......and eating.... delicious persimmons
