About Tilses Apple Truck Cider
Each year, the 1000 apple trees across Roma Orchard produce more apples than we can sell from our packing shed, farmers markets and selected stockists across the Hunter Valley. After some discussions over what to do with our excess fruit each season, the idea to juice this fruit and make (initially) apple wine, and then apple cider, was developed. After much trial, error, and success, Tilse's Apple Truck Cider was born!
From a way to utilise some of our apples each year, we now use the majority of our crop to produce cider. Once this runs out, we use the same varieties of apples from orchards in the Orange Region.
