This leafy park features tables and chairs, with toilet facilities available in the nearby Recreation Centre, on the opposite side of Browns Dam. The dam features an aerating fountain, offering peaceful water sounds, a perfect complement for the park's historic war memorials, which record the names of those from the district who served in World Wars I and II, Korea, Malaya, Borneo, Vietnam and in United Nations operations.
Playground equipment and a free barbecue is located on the Parkes Street side.
Parking is available along Loftus and Parkes streets.
