The location, building and decor is lovely. The service was also very good. We also enjoyed the wines. However the food was well below par. The Whiting schnitzel with thrice cooked wedges was terrible. I've had better fish and chips from the frozen section of Coles. The mackerel was just ok but the sauce was like drinking pickle juice with fennel.
Lucky we had great company and good wine.
I saw the bad reviews but still went. Cause the restaurant looked very fancy from outside. Service was good. But the cooking was just terrible. I mean absolutely terrible. It didn't even have proper amount of salt. Asked rare steak. Was served well done. I hope they change their cook or revise the cooking methods. The food taste doesn't really do the place any justice.
