I myself was one of Dr Slatterys Patients as a child. He is an amazing Dr and a wonderful human being as well.
The appointments maybe hard to obtain and the staff maybe abrupt on occasions but that's the fault of the health care system in general and not one person alone, keep in mind hospital workers entered their careers hoping to make a difference and help people but are now overworked, understaffed and after covid fully booked out!
I myself have come to learn as an adult it is extremely difficult to get your child an appointment for a good paediatrician is time consuming, costly and frustrating regardless of where you go.
I would not base my review on a single person on the hospital staffs behaviour nor the cost as you usually know what is in store for you when you go to a private paediatrician..
