In May 2019, Monash University Clayton launched the newest cultural and nightlife precinct for Melbourne events, theatre and concerts, The Ian Potter Centre for Performing Arts. The Centre houses three venues:
The revitalised 586-seat Alexander Theatre.
The new 130-seat David Li Sound Gallery.
