About Portland Arts Centre
Owned and managed by Glenelg Shire Council, PAC was built in the 1970s, has a proscenium arch stage and an auditorium with raked seating for 144 patrons.
The foyer offers two adjoining exhibition spaces for community exhibitions.
The Glenelg Shire Council’s ArtsGlenelg Program aims to provide a diverse range of inbound professional touring performances, catering for a range of age groups and interests.
We present around 20 performances in a season, and accept venue hires for performances, presentations, and community arts use.
When not in use by ArtsGlenelg, the PAC hosts Showbiz Cinemas, who deliver new release movies to the people of Portland and surrounds.
