With a focus on theatre and dance, the QPAC Playhouse is a medium sized venue with sweeping views of the river and city skyline.
Built in 1997, the 850 seat Playhouse is a traditional proscenium theatre that is ideal for theatre and dance. There are two levels – the stalls level and balcony – both providing an excellent view of the stage. Access into each row is via the side aisles.
The Playhouse is at the Russell Street side of QPAC with two entrances facing the South Bank Parklands arbour. The closest parking is at the Performing Arts Car Park or the Grey Street entrance to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre car park
