Absolutely appalled at this chemist's theft of my money, in the form of hugely over inflated price that I paid for some APO brand cold sore cream. I usually only pay around $10 for the 5g tube of generic cold sore cream and I thought she said $7.99 but it turned out to be $18 !! (oh sorry, $17.99 - much cheaper...). I checked online and the same brand cold sore cream is selling for $9.50 and that is INCLUDING delivery to your door!
I will never ever go into that chemist again and I intend to report this huge price inflation to the Dept of Fair trading. Surely there must be laws of how much they can charge for products.
Yes it was my fault for not asking how much it was prior to buying. But shops like this have a duty of care to provide fair prices to the public.
