About Erika Fish - Human Rights and Art Photographer
Erika Fish is a Tasmanian born traditional photographer. She lives in Moorooka where she works and teaches in her photographic studio. Erika offers teaching workshops in darkroom printing, film processing and still life photography. Traditional photography, through the imagination, is a great teacher in unlocking the sticky parts of our being.
Erika believes governing and creativity go hand in hand. She also feels country is ready for a Bill of Human Rights and for our Indigenous peoples to have their voice enshrined in the constitution. A statement from the heart at the beginning of a Bill of Human Rights echoing back to the Uluru Statement from the heart is necessary if we are to live in harmony as sovereign caretakers of country.
