Karen is an amazing physiotherapist who has helped me recover from long standing health issues.
I had a shoulder/arm problem for over twenty years that limited my ability to do many things (including writing, using scissors, painting). Before seeing Karen, I had seen many therapists but none of them took the time to do what Karen did - she listened empathically to my issues and asked the right questions to find out what muscles needed to be treated and strengthened. Within a few sessions (with me doing strengthening exercises that she gave me to do at home between sessions) my long-standing problem was solved enabling me to do things I hadn’t been able to do for years.
Then more recently I injured my knee and was unable to stand up or sit down, or climb stairs, without excruciating pain. Again, Karen was able to isolate the area of my body that needed treatment, and combined with the exercises she gave me to do at home, the problem was solved after a few appointments. Now I am thrilled to be able to play with my son, and climb up steps at Adventure World to go on water slides!
