I am a 29 year old male who sought consultation by Dr. Lam earlier this year for surgical treatment of gynecomastia in August 2021. On meeting, I felt immediately from Dr. Lam that his intentions were those of a surgeon and a healthcare practitioner, passionate about patient care above anything else. By the end of the first consult I was so impressed and reassured by Dr. Lam's professional and calm demeanour that I booked the surgery immediately.
The surgery itself was faultless, recovery was the same. I feel that such a smooth recovery, with no significant pain or any complications, must be the work of a truly skilled and caring surgeon. Additionally, Dr. Lam's office made adequate post surgery follow-up appointments which were quick and easy - but never felt rushed.
Now a few months on, for the first time in my life I feel comfortable wearing all types of clothing - and being without a shirt where appropriate. Maybe for someone who hasn't had gynecomastia this doesn't sound like a big deal, but those of us who have can understand the significance of this. The results are so natural and above and beyond what I expected. I'm sure many people doctors can perform a surgery, but only someone with true skill like Dr. Lam can achieve such a perfect result.
Simply, I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Lam and his whole team. I never once felt nervous, uncomfortable or concerned while under his treatment and the outcome was phenomenal. I don't make recommendations lightly, however I sincerely recommend Dr. Lam and his team to anyone considering undertaking surgery within his remit.
In October 2022, I had an extended tummy tuck, muscle repair and liposuction on my lower back/hips with Dr Lam. He has completely changed my life with his amazing work. His bedside manner is phenomenal and all of his staff are lovely. I always felt so comfortable with Dr Lam throughout the whole process of consultation right through to post surgery. He’s an amazing surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for abdominoplasty.
