About Katherine Isolated Children's Service
KICS is a remote, mobile playgroup and parent information service. KICS brings the joy of play-based learning to socially and geographically isolated children in the 0-5 years age range. The KICS teams travel a very large area in the greater Katherine, NT region visiting Indigenous communities and pastoral stations to facilitate playgroup with children and their parents, carers and educators. KICS is a not-for-profit, Incorporated Association and is a registered Charity. KICS is federally funded through the Prime Minister & Cabinet (PMC) Indigeous Advancement Strategy (IAS).
