My mum had a free podiatry visit included as a part of her diabetes care plan. I had called in advance and advised about what i was looking for clearly. In no way did the person who did the booking advise that it will not be fully covered and there will be a gap payment.
We had a consultation with david. Mind you, he was great and he even assisted with my mums ingrown nail issue. But the admin is the worst i have ever had to deal with.
After the appointment, is when the receptionist grace advised about the gap payment. When i advised about the conversation during the booking all she said was oh was just a miscommunication. I agreed with the payment and she asked me for my card and after the payment she asks me if payment was credit or debit and we can do immediate refund only on savings account... like.. shouldnt that be advised before processing the payment so i am aware of the options??.
All in all a terrible experience.
As i said doesnt reflect on the doctors consultation as he was professional. Needs work on the admin. MAKE SURE TO ALWAYS ASK SPECIFICS QUESTIONS AND NOT RELY ON THE ADMIN CONFIRMING ITS ALL GOOD.lesson learnt.
