Altona Hatchery was established in 1942 to service the requirements of the egg industry in Western Australia and since then has become the leading supplier of layer chicks. From our headquarters located in Perth, chickens are supplied to our customers both local and interstate. The availability of genetic stock from Hy-Line International during the last decade has provided continual improvements in our genetic stock. We produce the world's leading Hy-Line layer genetic stock. We operate our own breeder farm. We operate our own modern hatchery. We operate our own started pullet grower farms.
