From an architectural point of view, this small Anglican church in Hastings street in Glenelg is a gem. Once you are inside the first impression is size with a high timber framed vaulted roof. Along the south wall are three large stained glass windows with interesting brickwork surrounding them. The overall impression is large but it is a small space with beautiful timbered pews. The music is delightful with an organist plus clarinet plus guitar. The hymns selected were of the modern revised version of (Anglican) Australian hymns. When I attended last week I was made very welcome and joined the congregation for morning tea.
