About Nurturing Mother
Nurturing Mother is a unique psychology service; my aim is to create a safe space for expecting mothers and new parents, up until three years after birth, to deepen their understanding of the emotional difficulties they may face and improve their overall well-being.
The therapeutic relationship and the approach that I take is unique to each person, based on their specific needs. Using a relational, attachment-based framework, I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches including Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am also a certified Circle of Security parenting educator.
