Lovely clinic, however I saw a therapist here for several sessions and it wasn’t structured, I wasn’t able to be seen regularly and there was a lack of communication in where the treatment was going and we were not on the same paths.
I really wanted to have a structured OCD treatment plan/ program, with clear outcomes and goals, to be seen regularly and undergo ERP, not just talk, talk, talk without direction.
The therapist was lovely & I’m sure fine if you want general psychology but if you want to really tackle your OCD with someone who knows every aspect of OCD and you are wanting to undergo intensive ERP in a structured way, I found Dr O’Leary at the Brisbane OCD clinic was truly amazing! Well worth the waiting time but finally I was able to undergo structured, regular & intense ERP & my quality of life as a result has finally improved drastically! I really can’t believe it!
I have decided to write this review as I REALLY struggled to get good OCD treatment in WA and feel like I wasted a lot of sessions & lost opportunities to get better.
