Nicole is one of the best Psychologists I have ever seen. Even though I now live in Victoria I still have sessions with her via video chat. She has strongth empathy to her clients and is very experienced with a wide range of mental health issues. She is understanding and easily helps you understand your issues whilst giving you the tools you need to overcome them. Her offcie is extremely comfortable and her therapy dpg is gorgeous and loves to lie with you which is of great comfort. I 100% recommend this clinic and Nicole, i can't say where I would be now without her help.
I was desperate and depressed when in a relationship with my de facto partner and on a spousal visa. One day, my friend suggested I go to see my GP to gain a mental health care plan because I could not stop crying. I explained my situation to the doctor and he told me that i was in an abusive relationship. The GP referred me to South Perth Counselling and Psychological Services for support.
I never had a history of depression or anxiety and I never had counselling before either so I was a bit hesitant at the beginning.
I met a Psychologist Nicole and Counsellor Anne. I always felt very comfortable and protected when I spoke with them.
They always listened to me... very warm and provided me with a calm environment, they never pushed me to do anything. Nicole gave me a lot of information I needed including a domestic violence help line & extra support services. Nicole and Anne gently encouraged me to leave my ex partner if and when I was ready. Nicole also introduced me to a migrant lawyer who is helping me with my case now.
I was verbally, emotionally, financially and physically abused by my ex partner over the last 18 months. If I didn’t go to see GP, if I didn’t go to counselling... I would still be enduring a horrible toxic environment.
I can’t say thanks enough.
