WalkWest is a fundraising initiative to support Western Health.
The Western Health community is one of the fastest growing in Australia, with a population surpassing one million this year. It is a proud and passionate community, where our uniqueness is celebrated in over 110 different languages, and support is offered to those in need.
While our working class roots make us strong in spirit, at Western Health, we know that disadvantage and diversity are also two of the main roadblocks to accessing healthcare. As a result, our community experiences some of the highest levels of chronic disease in Australia, with higher than average repeat hospital admissions.
