About Newtown Library
Newtown Library is located just off cosmopolitan King Street in an historic building known as the Salvation Army Citadel, built in 1883. The library is hugely popular with locals, students and families. It has a mezzanine level for events and programs, as well as a dedicated kids’ corner for young readers on the ground floor.
Regular programs and events include weekly rhymetime and storytime sessions.
