I was absolutely knocked out by the service I received from all of the staff at Cockburn Libraries in Spearwood. I pestered them for assistance for over a week just before Christmas, and not only were they more than willing to help, but they continued to support me with my project, until it was solved. For example, staff member Sandra helped me with some Caligraphy, whilst Mary offered constructive praise when I doubted my ability. As well as others not only loaning, but educating me with all manner of equipment, from a pair of scissors to computer software queries. It was this going the "extra mile" to help, assist or direct that I'd thoroughly recommend. All in all a brilliant community service
Good library but for adults and older well behaved children. Lots of chill out area and discussion rooms for adults. Definitely does not suit under 5 years old. Boring kids area with no separate area for toddlers and babies who are let's face it, very loud and crave exploration. Not even a playground near the library.
