About Cairns Esplanade Lagoon
The Lagoon is a 4800sqm salt water swimming facility that offers an all-year round, safe, swimming location without stingers and crocodiles. The Lagoon is monitored by Life Guards during opening hours. The amenities area includes changing areas, showers and toilets.

Really nice and relaxing atmosphere. It is even better when there is someone playing live music, though. They close it a little bit too early.
