I unfortunately cannot recommend this property management firm whatsoever. We had several negative experiences with them, including their failure to undertake appropriate background checks on problematic tenants, failure to obtain permission from us before undertaking expensive repairs, an inability to adequately address our growing concerns about tenant issues, inadequate inspection reports that did not report damage (beyond wear-and-tear) and mould issues, and poor or non-existent communication on multiple occasions. The clincher was when we had a horror experience with a tenant they recommended. This tenant destroyed much of the interior of our apartment, which took 9 months to repair. We experienced many frustrating interactions and delays with getting insurance repairs carried out due in part to poor communication and action from United. After we switched to another property manager, we discovered further damage to our apartment that was not reported to us by United. We were left disgusted and angry by their ineptitude and clear disregard for their client's investments. In our experience, this company is absolutely not worth the stress, frustration, and wasted time and money. Give them a wide berth.
