About Resource Recovery Gippsland
Resource Recovery Gippsland (also known as the Gippsland Waste and Resource Recovery Group) is one of seven Victorian State Government Statutory Waste and Resource Recovery Groups established under the Environment Protection Act 1970 in 2014.
The organisation is the link between state agencies, the six Gippsland councils, community, schools, business and industry across Gippsland.
We are responsible for facilitating a coordinated approach to the planning and delivery of waste and resource recovery infrastructure and services.
Our approach is to work collaboratively and proactively with stakeholders to deliver the best waste management and resource recovery outcomes for the Gippsland region in the most efficient and effective ways.
