About Sue Cutbill Exercise Physiology

My specialty is Clinical Exercise Physiology - if you have a chronic problem and you feel you have tried everything - then please contact me.

I often see people after joint surgeries that have not got the expected functionality despite a lot of rehabilitation. Other conditions I regularly see is chronic back pain, knee replacements that have not lived up to expectation, old injuries that continue to cause problems. If you are wanting to work on injury prevention - youth or adult - I will assess where your imbalances lie and formulate a plan.

If you suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - you will know how mis-understood it is - having worked in a chronic fatigue clinic - please make contact.

Affectively reducing chronic pain takes a multi-dimensional approach. Pain is complex and can affect anyone. Pain will slowly sap the ability to enjoy activities you used to love.

I specialise in helping with complex joint or muscular pain and I get results. I will help put you back in control so you can carry on doing what you enjoy.

If you would like to find out how I use clinical exercise physiology and myofacial release to help you - please contact me.

Feel great again.

I so often have people come to see me for help after a very extended period, often a year or more, of doing the same therapies without any change in pain symptoms. This often results in loss of quality of life and the ability to do things. Chronic pain affects people at any age and any demographic.

The treatment I offer is totally individualised, I will take the time to listen and put the pieces of your pain history together and I will then come up with a plan. My treatment at the beginning is a mix of myofascial release and appropriate rehab exercises as well as pain management strategies.

If this sounds like you and you are struggling with chronic pain (back, knee, ankle to name a few). please make contact.

My aim is to get you on the path to self management in as few sessions as possible.

Let's talk about knees. At a glance knees are quite a straight forward hinge joint - but as is so often the case - looks can be very deceiving.

Apart from backs, knees is what I see most of in clinic - and having gone to watch an incredible surgeon do knee replacements, ACL reconstructions, and meniscus trims I have an in-depth outlook and knowledge of what can go wrong and therefore what is required for effective rehab.

Not only do the knees do a lot of work, they are very complex due to the number of muscles and tendons implicated so to get to the root of your knee pain - you require a multi faceted approach to your rehab.

If you are struggling with anything from niggling knees to excruciatingly painful knees - please contact me.

Something I hear regularly "I wish I had known about Exercise Physiology and come sooner".
