What an amazing experience I had from booking all the way through to the move day! Peter was professional and got me booked in and communication was great! The moving guys on the day turned up on time and were efficient and so professional! They took extra care with all my items and dismantled furniture items without blinking an eyelid! I would highly recommend! Price was fair and service A1
I have never done a review before but I think I need to do this time to warn people. I have used the services of LCBM twice within 12 months. There first time, I had to move an entire 4 bedroom house (2 storeys) and couldn't have been happier with service, professionalism, time and costs. 11 months later, I did not hesitate to use their services again for a smaller move (distance and also content of items as I had to downsize due to having less space). To my surprise, the move took double of the time they estimated (and also double of time they used the last time). They never indicated that it will take longer during the move. The guys themselves were nice but complaint to us that they were only two people and did not understand that they were only 2 (and they also were on their phones a lot so I assume they raised this with their boss). We were overcharged, e.g. we were charged for the breaks and they tried to charge us a again for the deposit (after countless emails and phone calls they transferred a "courtesy" amount of $150 for something that was their mistake). We also did not receive a receipt when we asked for one and only after a couple of calls and emails received one. It also turned out that another job was cancelled on the same day we moved and that raises the question if they wanted to make a day's work money... All in all very disappointed and I don't understand how the service can change so much within 11 months.
