About Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC
The Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC is a national centre conducting research and outreach aimed at increasing national disaster resilience to natural hazard events. The centre is also the National Committee of the UNISDR sponsored Integrated Research on Disaster Risk.
The centre is funded by the Australian Government through the CRC program, ans well as partners from across Australia and NZ including all fire, emergency services and land management agencies as well as government departments and not-for-profit organisations.
Our vision is to be the preferred and trusted source of research and knowledge in bushfire and natural hazards.
