Have enjoyed previous visits very much, this one, not so much. Our table of 8 were a bit underwhelmed by what came out of the kitchen. The pate was fabulous, truffle & cauliflower tasteless (I’d saved it as my final starter because truffle is an amazing flavour but this had none). I chose the rabbit risotto with fennel. The rabbit couldn’t have been cooked better, it was beautiful, the risotto was under seasoned, over cooked with no starchy creaminess and the fennel non existent. The other diners had over cooked roast pork with a slab of red cabbage and lovely pink snapper with a tasteless grain accompaniment. It was quite disappointing and really lacked flavour throughout. Apparently the doughnuts & ice cream were amazing, that got a thumbs up ????
