Service is really attentive and the food is incredible. Excellent selection of wines and cocktails.
Our second time dining at Santini Grill, and expectations were high given how wonderful our first experience had been, having reminisced many times about the food, service and atmosphere during our stay at QT Perth.
Unfortunately we did not have the same experience this time. Service was pretty much non-existent, interestingly so as we had the same waiter last time but none of his charm or attentiveness was present tonight. 30min passed before he enquired if we wanted a drink, and an hour of time passed to be served entree of fresh oysters. No passion or enthusiasm to promote the menu and our long-since-empty flute glasses left on the table, even after being served our steak, leaving us to try for the attention of our waiter to order a wine to enjoy with our meal. The steak was still on point, however, we didn't walk out feeling special, well looked after or an overall sense of the $$$ being worth it on this occasion. Amazing how it really is the whole experience that makes a venue shine, and how much it influences your desire to revisit, or give it a miss.
We'll give you another go in the future Santini, but it won't be in a rush. Hopefully next time it will see you regain a place in our hearts, so that we can once again recommended you so highly
