Samford Scout Group provides fun youth development activities, building resilient and confident boys and girls aged 5 to 25 in the Joey (5-7 yrs), Cub (8-10 yrs), Scout (11-14 yrs), Venturer (15-17 yrs), and Rover (18-25 yrs) Sections. Scouting is the biggest and most successful youth organisation in Australia. More than 15,000 boys, girls and adults in Queensland participate in all aspects of Scouting. The Purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens, and as a member of their local, national and international communities.
