Taroona Pty Ltd is a commercial Spanish Mackerel fishing company based out of Darwin NT, Norman Hedditch started this company in 1987 and hasn't looked back now owning 2 vessels the South Seas Daniela and the Rat Patrol catching fresh trunks of fish as well as frozen fillets. Working over 12 hour days for 5 to 14 day fishing trips, averaging about 280 days at sea. We catch all our fish on a hook and line operation meaning we pull every fish in by hand! go check out our Youtube channel! Mackerel Online is our shop in Winnellie that ONLY sells local NT caught freshly frozen seafood! we are a family run business with a goal to get more people to eat Aussie caught seafood!
