Unfortunately my experience was not as good as everyone else's so far. I took in a pair of RM Williams craftsman for a new heel and to replace the leather lining on the inside heel area. I took these boots in and it took a week for them to even be sent off to get fixed. I called a couple of times and even went into the shop for an update which they struggled to tell me where my boots were or how long it would be until they were repaired. Finally, about 2-3 weeks later I received a text message saying that my boots were ready so I went into the store to pick them up. Unfortunately the toe lining in one boot was not finished and as I was leaving to move interstate I paid and took them as it wasn't worth the hassle for me to get them sent back to be fixed. At first the job seemed decent but after wearing the boots 3 times now the right inner lining on the heel is rubbing on my foot and giving me a blister. This is due to the leather seam on the heel being misaligned (the left boot has been done well and is comfortable hence why I have decided not to rate 1 star). Overall I am disappointed with the timeline it took to have my boots fixed and the quality of the lining on the inside of the right boot. I will now have to send these boots back to RM Williams to be fixed properly - I love supporting local business like these but it seems that this is a one off dodgy job which has left me with a pair of boots that I can't wear and will need to pay $200 to get them fixed properly.
