About St Gabriel's School
St Gabriel's was founded 100 years ago as a school for the deaf, and broadened its admissions to children with special needs in 2007. These include students who are hearing impaired, blind or have low vision, Autism and other intellectual disabilities on the mild to moderate range. We deliver core primary and secondary education, including numeracy and literacy, as well as subjects to develop social skills and communication. . We’re going through a great deal of growth at present and have been transitioning from K-6 to K-12. Next year we welcome our first Year 11 class, and Year 12 in 2024.
